Privacy note

This site collects very little. This note says what, why, and how to have it removed.

Your email, for the Companion

To use the AI Companion you give an email address. It is used to send you a sign-in link, and to count questions per day so the Companion stays available to everyone. If you tick the box, it is also used to send occasional news about the book; if you do not, it is not. Your email is kept separately from your conversations and is never attached to them. It is not sold or shared.

Your conversations

Conversations with the Companion are logged for the development of the framework and reviewed by the author. A log holds the questions, the answers and the name you choose to give, if any, and nothing else that identifies you. Questions are sent to the AI services that power the Companion to produce an answer.

One cookie

Signing in sets a single cookie that keeps this browser signed in for 30 days. The site uses no advertising or tracking cookies.

Where it is kept

The site and its reader records are hosted by Netlify. Sign-in emails are sent through Resend. Conversation logs are kept in Google Sheets.

Your choices

To stop receiving news, to see what is held about you, or to have your email and records removed, write through the contact page or to carl@cloudspago.com.
